The very first video ever.

I’ve always loved editing videos. I made a CapCut instagram account in 7th grade right after I was gifted my sisters old Moto G2 (it got dropped two stories and half the screen didn’t work). I found videos online and mixed them all together. Overlays, movement, cropped sections, and especially color deletion fascinated me. The Moto then died. And I forgot about it.

It wasn’t until spring of 2023 that I created a video again, but this time with my personal videos. The overlays, cropped sections, and color deletion all came back - but this time I wasn’t using a cracked half working screen.

I was terrified of posting this video on instagram. I thought it was too “out there.” I was very self conscious of just about anything I made back then, but I did it- and it was pretty sick.

I see this video as a milestone.
